New to the forum.. 58 years old and I own 2 road bikes and 2 mountain bikes and now one year with my e-bike. A whole new sport.....Absolutely addicted to my e-bike. ...and addicted to my Speedbox 2.0. I have 3 sets of tires: 29x 2.6, 29 x 2.3 studded, and 700 x 40 for pavement only. I run a Deore 11 speed 11 x 50 cassette and swapped out the 38t front for a 42t. I almost always carry my spare 500 watt battery under the top tube. This bike can and will go anywhere... 4,700 miles in just over a year

Yes, in the North East part of the state. A small ski area there that used to be known for its ski academy run by Warren Witherall.

We use to have a ski lodge on our Burke Mountian too. Burnt down years ago. Not much left of it. Use to be called Dollar Mountian many years ago. It’s all Provincial Park land now. MTBing and hiking paradise.

Oddly enough I while I grew up on the other end of VT from Burke I now live on about the same terms with your Burke here in the OR....and my son lives in E. Van....

Welcome, I just did a few days of Slate Valley area riding, but not so much on the singletrack. You've got some awesome dirt roads (if you can call them roads) up that way that I've been on with my snowmobiles a few years back.
