Just joined the forum. I’ve been riding various mountain bikes for 35+ years and have always been partial to Specialized. I still have an FSR from 10+ years ago that I enjoyed riding but real life happened and didn’t have as much time. I passed down my FSR to my teenage son and bought a new to me 2019 Levo Expert. I’m hoping to learn more about the bike and really excited to get back on the trails again. Now that I’m older I can’t mash and recover as I did before.

I know that area pretty well since I grew up in SJ, but not the good eMTB trails. Where do you suggest is worth the drive down?

My suggestion for good eBike trails would be over in Santa Cruz area.

Nisene - Lots of singletrack options if you know the trail system.
Wilder Ranch - eBike friendly and some fun technical singletrack in areas of the park
UC Santa Cruz - Lots of good options from fireroad to singletrack, to flowy, to full blown technical downhill trails with gaps and drops.
