Girth !

A few recent releases look like they have really large downtubes - like the new Giant Reign, though in @Rob Rides EMTB new pictures it doesn't look as bad as Giant's pictures.

So measure and list your downtube girth... I'm stuck somewhere without bikes so can't add any at the moment.

If you don't have a flexy tape measure, use a piece of string or sheet of paper wrapped around, mark it, measure it. Might have to go corner to corner rather than edge to edge if you have particularly large girth - that should give you at least an extra 6cm's ! (of measuring space....)

Weirdly, looking at them, you'd guess the Focus was about 50% more - not 2.5 cm's !

@Rob Rides EMTB how big's that Giant ??? It looks huge in some pics and reasonable in others.

Had to wait for the new bike but I think we have a weiner, John Holmes style @ 33cm of carbon fiber fat tubeness Luna Zed1 w/ 820wh (48v x `17.5ah) I'm going to give it a girly name though so it's not polite to ask how much it weighs



I still think the Flyon might be even bigger....
