Giant sync drive pro motor for sale

I have fitted a new giant Yamaha sync drive pro 2021 motor to my bike. I am selling the old one either as spares or repair. It's the pcb board that is damaged. If anyone is struggling to get parts then this is a perfect opportunity

Not sure if your interested in having a spare motor. It seems Yamaha is slowly making the controller boards available. So I’m sure yours will be available it’s just a matter of time. Do you know the part number you need ?

Thanks for the info, what is the model and make of bike ? Sometimes the pn’s are superseded from what is shown on the actual part.

giant use the yamaha motors but they use there own controllers batts and displays and use can bus so a normall yamah controller wont work as they use uart.

I tried this company, they said they can't do it because of giant software , they have tried but failed, thanks anyway

Are you certain about that ? I was under the impression that Giant did nothing to the actual internals of the Yamaha motor. What is the Giant part number for the main board found Inside ? Unfortunately I haven’t found any parts manuals or lists or much for the Giant . Yamaha on the other hand has a parts manual with a complete breakdown of everything, like it should be.

I'm unsure of specific details why they

if peter cant do it then it cant be done giant use can bus to lock there batts and displays to there bikes only a bit like Specialized and the brose motors they all use can bus and none of them sell the motor controllers or any motor parts bar yamaha.

Hey I’m not able to help you further with the Giant modified Yamaha motor. It’s too bad that Giant grabs the totally serviceable Yamaha motor and modify’s it in “secret “ and keeps the part numbers, manuals and parts “secret “. Yamaha has everything out in the open and available. Sorry man, good luck !

For all Giant owners, we have not given up! Now we have seen what Giants "service Centre" have been telling and charging people It has galvanized us to pursue this further. We have enlisted an electronics company to help find a workaround for this issue. Although, there are a few projects ahead of this one in the queue, it will be tackled as soon as possible.

No news yet I'm sorry to say. We have been concentrating on Bosch. We will make a noise about this once it's done though.
