That’s about the extent of my motor service. The amount of grease seems ok…but I wonder about the type of grease used. Keeping grease away from the circuit board is important.

There is a bearing seal kit available, with proper grease, that could have been used. A modified c-clip plier can easily be made for that one particular c-clip. It can protect some of the fine threads.

I’m sure that Pete can be helpful with some of the details.

Hmmm, what does the @Bearing Man think about this one?

Sorry, but just because you clean and grease the bits you can see, it's not going to help! Especially, when you fill the bearings up with a solvent and use the wrong grease! Personally, I would not recommend using this as a "how to" video
