E bike light, carbon frame, lower power Yamaha motor, smaller battery, 40kg. Since purchase I’ve added a bit of weight with a Fox 36 Grip 2 fork and a Cane Creek Kitsuma coil spring shock. I ride pretty rough trails, have put on almost 30 miles in a day and have never used more than half battery. Suspension was totally worth the expense!

I've seen this model on special here in Australia for 4000 dollars which is very reasonable. How are yiu liking it? Does it have enough power on the ups? And is it burley enough to handle reasonable trails with the odd 1 meter drop thrown in? ( I'm currently on a norco sight vlt alloy that weighs a heap but is pretty bomb proof) cheers

It‘s current set up - FOX 36, Cane Creek Kitsuma, Formula Cura 4 piston rear to match front caliper, Mudrockers, Mahle Alpha 1 and Raceface grips, exactly 50 lbs or 22.73 kg.
Bikerchef1 $4000 AU sounds like an outstanding deal! I travelled to Victoria BC a bit over a year ago and got what I considered a great deal, but with current conversion values your price is about 900 USD cheaper. It’s a nice bike that you‘ll probably find quite limited by the oe suspension which is clearly aimed towards price and weight rather than performance. A RockShox fork insert and better shock would do it wonders without the expense of Fox and Cane Creek. For reference the shock is 65mm travel and 230mm length. As far as hill climbing ability, well, it’s not not an 80+ nm bike but it does fine on the steeper trails I ride on…
