One week in with a freshie and so far have three 3 rides totaling 70 Miles and 8k ft of elevation here is Livermore, CA.

A good friend of mine who got me into road a few years ago after damaging my wrist being a gym rat since 12 years old, now being very appreciative that he has again introduced me to world of e-mtb.

On road and indoor (kickr bike and Zwift) I log 4k+ miles a year, indoor is great during extreme heat, rain, cold or night and will continue with that but I am now not holding my breath for analog road bikes, have a Creo that I will keep as well. Now I have a dilemma on what to do with all my road bikes and gear as it was a costly endevour.

On with some pics.

I run a flat bar commuter ebike for road work. And use it for all transport within 10km of home.

I'm not a fan of road riding, having been hit twice by drivers who said they just didn't see me. So unless you feel you get some sort of additional exercise from the road bikes, I'd trade the road bikes for a e-commuter. And get all your exercise on the EMTB and internal bike.

Sure you are going to lose some money on them. But you'll lose more hanging on to them as technology changes.

Just my opinion and my advice. Enjoy the EMTB. Hope you learn heaps.
