i had my 2011 mondraker dune powder coated for my grandson as a sort of legacy bike for him when hes older, it was acid dipped (came out clean as a whistle) didnt even need hydro blasted, and was then plugged and coated, it came out immaculate and i didnt expect anything less as my son in law owns the powder coating business here in scotlandNever loved my bikes colour and its had a few knocks and scrapes, so good reason to get a re spray. Anyone had an e bike done and if so where.. .. Iv had a few manual bikes done in the past, one ended up with a hole in after a harsh shot blasting process ?
one thing is make sure its vapour blasting if its required and not just regular blasting as vapour is much less abrasive on aluminium frames, its now all decaled and ready for a rebuild.
shameless plug for anyone in Scotland who needs powder coating or hydro dipping Glenrothes Custom Coatings
