Unanswered Fox DHX2 Factory 2Pos-Adj Shock 2022 v Fox X2 Factory 2022

Got the X2 Factory on my G3 Levo SW. Had a coil on my G2 and kind of miss it. Have people persevered with the X2 and grown to love it or is the coil much better for Enduro type riding. Just after peoples experiences good or bad. Ta

I have two different DHX2 shocks, one is a 2020 and the other a 2021. Both blew out the seals in less than six months and had to be rebuilt by Fox. I would clean the shock the best I could after every ride too. Wasn't too crazy about that, but liked the way they felt. I thought it wasn't advised to run a coil on the Levo's because of the forces put on the shocks shaft? I could be wrong but I recall seeing some pictures of snapped shock shafts on Levo ebikes.

I'm currently riding on a EXT e-Storia shock and love it. Still in the honeymoon phase so don't want to praise it too much and can't talk about the long term reliability, but I like the fact they use a 14mm shaft instead of a tiny 10mm shaft that Fox uses. Hopefully the large shock shaft allows the seals to hold up better than Fox's.
