Hi all,

Does anyone know if the Fox 36 Ebike specific fork is compatible with the MRP Ramp Control? I know the internals are apparently from a 34 but I cannot find anything on the MRP website and from a search on here I dont think it has been asked before.

I have an MRP unit 34A on my original Rythmn 34's that came on my 2019 Turbo Levo so if that would fit it would be a result.

It should fit inside and threads will be the same i think. However im sure the caps are technically different as the crown is still a 36, so the cap is 36 size to sit neatly in the recess on the crown, but with 34 sized threads. Whether this would cause an issue with airtight seal on a 34 sized cap i dont know. If you have one just try it.

Thanks for the info.

I reached out to MRP and they replied really quickly, this is the response.

So we’re in the process of looking to add a Fox E Bike 36 specific cartridge to the lineup, the challenge is the 34mm air spring but Fox actually uses a 36mm top cap still.

Here’s the links to the parts breakdown between the 2 forks:

36mm E-Bike+ Part Information | Bike Help Center | FOX

There’s actually a small gap that has to be maintain between the cartridge and inside of the stanchion, and the difference between our 34mm body and 36mm is enough that the 36mm appears that it will make contact under stress and flex conditions.

No idea on the ETA of a E-Bike specific cartridge model as of yet, this Covid-19 business really pushed us back on our projects, but you can be sure we’ll make it well known when we have one finished!

I'm currently running the MRP 36-F Ramp Control in my 2019 Decoy Pro Race. The bike has the Fox 36 E-specific fork and the Ramp Control fit right in. Didn't know there might be an issue and I've had no problems at all.
