The only bike that's dropping is the eDruid. It's not long travel. I've seen it. There is NO long travel Forbidden ebike coming anytime soon.
Maybe I should have said long*er* travel. There will be two options available to purchase when they are released.

Yeah, the lighter one will have 140mm travel and the burlier build will have 150mm. Far from long travel.

I think it’s just a different stroke shock to reduce travel.

this isn’t an attack on anyone’s point of view . But I recently brought a 180 travel enduro bike in the mind set that more is better. I consider myself above average at riding , by no means a fast lad compared to racers. I’m really surprised how difficult it is to ride compared to a 150. It requires massive movements and commitment to make it sing. I don’t really ride it that much. Yes it’s very cool and I still enjoy it. But tracks in the woods 150 or less is way easier

I’ve had a 190/190mm Voima, and I’ve ridden ebikes like the current Rise LT. A lot of it has to do with suspension design, but given a choice I still prefer the longer travel ebikes for the terrain we ride in the Pacific North West.

But I am looking forward to trying a eDruid.

Yes, the geometry and how the rear suspension is positioned play a lot, you do not ride a 150 rear shock like a 180 one.

Some people also failed to position themselves correctly on longer travel bike, for me on my 170/170 I am not really riding the same as my 160/150. From corner, weight front or rear wheel, some feature are just requiring different body position.

Remember also that the longer travel fork have less flex, some people are able to feel it, some just do not.

On an e-bike, I do prefer at least 170+/170 especially in woods, what is true so is that if you do not setup correctly your suspension, as it has more travel it can be not that great.

Suspension tuning is not just SAG: bottom resistance, rebound, low/fast compression etc. My bet is that people failed to run 20 times the same track with different settings to find the right one. This is not a set and forget.

NB: I am not riding at full speed either to avoid being out of the game for weeks/months, and I am lazy too most of the time on suspension settings unless I am a full week on bike park.

All valid points . The rear shock setting thing is massive. Longer travel bikes in my opinion are Harder to set. The more bikes I ride I realise how different bikes are. Obviously experienced riders know what they want so happy days . But for the average customer . If I owned a company . It would be a nice 150 that felt great coasting without much rider input . Again , making presumptions about averages and the type of ppl who drop 10k on e-bikes and will over the current years. They aren’t preloading and smashing rock gardens ( in the uk at least). They don’t require big massive travel trophy trucks .
