Focus Jam2 lights flashing

So just had my first ride on my new Focus Jam2 6.8. LOVED it. I turned the bike off and give it a wash. I noticed that the light on the bike was pulsiing and the display was flashing intermitently. Is this normal, the lights seems to have turned off now.

I usually get a bit of a blue pulse for a while but never seen it on the display, I try and keep water away from the bars, does the bike have the connection cover fitted over the charge point?

No, I wandered what that was in the sundries of bits that came with the bike. Many thanks, I brought the bike into the house incase it was something to due with moisture. Thanks again
