Hi.
Does anyone modified the shock position on the frame ?
In my HAIBIKE FLYON ENDURO 8.0 the shock vs frame position is as per attached picture.

My goal would be to encrease the motor height with respect to the terrain. Somewhere I read that in the other pivot position the bike gains 1 cm in height.
Viceversa the fork angle increases 1 degree.

Is this correct?

Thanks.
Stefano.

Yes I've done it. I never measured before/after. I asked on this forum what difference it makes on other bikes. Answer was about 5mm of BB height and 0.5 deg of head angle................so invisible/pointless! Can't honestly say I can tell the difference.

I did mine. Just to give a fraction more ground clearance as bashing the plastic battery / motor cover at the bottom always worries me. Really can't tell if it makes much difference to the ride TBH.

I changed the position last week and went for a ride but on different tracks. Measuring the center of the bottom brachet , it rises 5-6 mm.
Next week end I will try a track where in the past I touched the motor cover and will see.
I'm using 165 mm crank.
