Flyon controller problem

Hi, my controller on my Flyon Xduro suddenly developed a fault. For no reason at all on a gentle ride it stopped allowing me to go down the power modes but it goes up through the modes ok. The only thing I can do is turn the controller off then on again.
Anyone any ideas?

Take the control button off the bike and examine it closely. There may be a small crack in the casing allowing water ingress. This happened to me recently with similar symptoms.
They are feeble components and not up to the job.
