So I took my new bike up to Ballater today, not only was it great fun to ride the Ridge and Masterplan but the battery life was amazing, I'm 110 kilos and despite a lot of climbing and a mixture of EMTB/Turbo I managed to get 23.9 miles out of a battery. This is a marked improvement of my Shimano powered Merida, granted the bosch battery has an extra 25% capacity but even with that taken in to account I am still getting 8 miles more than I did on my last bike. Just need to change the tyres and bars and then it will be even better.
