Evening all

Having spent the last 10 years on my specialised hardrock comp it’s now time to join my friends in the world of Emtb,s.

With a budget between £3500 - £4000 I’ve got my final 2 choices between Giants trance E+ pro and the Cube stereo hybrid 140 hpc race.

Used for occasional commuting and weekend trails I’d love to here your thoughts

Thanks.

My wife have a giant it is very silent compared to my shimano/merida.they are both nice bikes. the giant has a higher maximum system weight (154kg).

Then I will advocate for Cube (My last bike was Giant, and i was perfectly satisfied it) for the Bosch Gen 4 motor. I just love that motor, and how the torque is delivered. The bike it self (Stereo Hybrid) is easy to service, rides really well and climbes like a goat in the mountains. Overall quality feel is better on the Cube i think. They are really populare here, and have a big service network... maybe not the same in the UK?
