Anyone fitted a Fidlock water bottle and base to their Rise ? Do they fit OK ? The mounting bolts on the frame seem quite close to bottom where it angles off for the motor so not sure if they’ll fit. Thanks

I’ve found this photo online, guess Fidlock’s won’t fit the Rise as there isn’t 25mm clearance from the bottom bolt downwards

On my Large h30 - i have exactly 25mm. However I dont have that bottle size so I cant say if it will fit, but i definitely think it will if you use a spacer under the fidlock mount to have it stick out a little more for bottom clearance on the bottom.

We have the carbon Rise, myself and my partner. I’ve got the range extender coming soon so that’ll come with a bottle mount, but want to get a Fidlock for my partner’s bike. I have large, she has a medium, but I expect the mounting bolts are in the same position. You can see from this photo that there isn’t much clearance from the bottom bolt:

Actually, now that I can see the mounting bolt bracket has the bottom bolt right at the lowest point, but the magnet to hold the bottle a little higher up, it should work fine:

Did anyone actually confirm this works on a rise and if so what size bottle did you get? Wondering about a medium size frame

YT makes a custom 600ML bottle (Thirstmaster 4000) that is short and fat and a custom base for their frame that actually places the magnets lower than the stock fidlock base. I needed to get it as low as possible to clear the shock reservoir on my Gen 2 Levo. This was a FAIL as it put the bottle too close to the bottom and although it worked, after the first ride there’s a small mark where I rubbed through my paint as I twisted the bottle out! Super bummed I didn’t catch that initially. Tried the stock fidlock base which puts the magnet above the bolts and the bottle is too high. Hits the shock. Won’t work. I am now sitting on $85 worth of water bottle hardware I can’t use… I think my only other option is to sink another $20-30 on a wolftooth B-Rad system to see if I can offset the fidlock base just right.

You can also mount the Magnet upside down then flip the connector on the bottle to move the bottle position a bit. I did that on my Rallon to move the bottle lower
