Tbh if money was no object I would be looking at the Alutech CNC
€16,000/$19,000 for a bike .. are they crazy .. I'd much rather buy 4 * Fleurburger 5000's, hopefully with a beer thrown in free and not have all the hassle of owning something which would give me so much joy. ?????

I guess if you didn't fancy a burger or 4 you could have a nice Louis XIII Pizza and a nice bottle of wine instead... ??

For me at least you are getting something unique for your money, rather than the same bike everyone else has but with a bit more bling on it - lets face it a Levo is still a Levo, S-Works or not, same with a top end Rail, SC etc - the Alutech is a proper bespoke bike that you are not going to bump into anyone else on the trail with.

It's like a bike and work of art all rolled into one.

The Trail.
Tbh if money was no object I would be looking at the Alutech CNC E Fanes. Not so much driven by the spec or anything other than I think it’s a work of art.

This is a beautiful bit of kit. Noticed that they do a build for circa 7500 euros which is less money than others and looks amazing.

Maybe Rob could somehow get one for a review?

The normal E Fanes is a regular alloy frame, the CNC one is a fully CNC’d frame, a bit like a Pole, hence the price. It’s two CNC’d pieces bonded together.

The looks of the rear triangle scare me. Have you ridden one? I guess this bike would behave like an spcz epic that I once had, on a tight high speed turn the rear end kept going straight on tacky terrain, as if it had its own will...

No never ridden one though a mate has a regular Fanes and rides the hell out of it no issues for a few years now, they are very impressive bikes.
