Hi,

Thought I'd share this as I'm super impressed with this light.

Fitted an exposure Flex 3300lm light to my E180. The installation was very easy, just run the cable to the motor and plug it in to the front light port. I opted to install a waterproof plug so I can remove the light easier when not in use.

LBS kindly activated the Kiox foc as I bought the bike from them and did it on the spot in about 20mins.

It's plenty bright enough for the enduro/freeride stuff we do up here in the NE of scotland in fact it's too bright in places and shows up too much obstacles.

Anyway just thought I'd share and show some pics.

Nice one. Ive just installed the same light.
Not the 3300lumens I was expecting, but I’m happy with it.

Is your light up the correct way?

I have the same light I wired into my Rail. With the connection hidden inside.

I have the light up the other way though, I’m sure the three LEDs and lense are meant to be up the other way as they aren’t symmetrical.
I had to rotate the bar mount higher than I wanted to get the cables so they didn’t touch the stem faceplate.

Some info on this thread

Also if you are using the Flex on a Bosch Gen4 system, the output is 12v / 1.5amps max (set the Flex to Orange led current spec) = 18w

Exposure say at 18w the Flex Gives 2000lumens.

Yes it's upside down as I don't like the light being interfered with the bouncing hoses, it's just a pet hate of mine. It makes no difference to the riding I do and i get more adjustment should I need it.

I have it setup on the correct settings for the Bosch motor too.
