Evel Knievel is the Kenevo named after him ?

Yes it completely an homage to the greatest American who ever lived.

I started doing custom paint schemes with my bikes a few years ago.

When the orange Levo Expert became available I knew I wanted to create a a Dukes of Hazard themed bike. So I made the General Levo which only really needed decals to create

So when it came time to for my new carbon S-Works Levo I wanted to create an Evel Kenevel themed bike.
I was going to call it Levo Kenevo!

I had my graphics guy draw up fresh stars and bars. I figured out the placement for the decals and disassembled my brand new S-Works down to its bare frame straight out of the box.
I was going to have my friend who paints hot rods and choppers do a metallic candy white with super fine silver metal flake for the base coat. But he was backed up for a few weeks.

And then just a few days before I was going to take my frame and fork to the paint shop, Specialized announced a new long travel Ebike. It was called “Kenevo”

So needless to say the frame never got painted and the decals never got printed.

So I ordered one, it is was black and came with stars and bars stickers that are Evel inspired. Black? It still makes no sense that it came with those decals. They could have just made a black one and a white one.
