Etube ride app compatibility

How come the app doesn't work with e8000 display? Will it be supported at a later date?

I use the E-tube Project, although I believe that there is another similarly named app.

Turns out I was using the wrong app. Got the right one installed now and got firmware uodated ? thanks for your help
