Error code 75

Asking for a friend, he has a Haibike Flyon 5.0 2020. Today it was working fine and he went to change batteries mid ride. Put in a fully charged battery and got error 75 - battery time out ?.The bike turns on then immediately turns off again. He put the original battery back in but still the same….what does it mean and can it be fixed. Thanks very much.

On a German forum there is a discussion about this error code that describes a plastic pin having been bent and stopping the batteries connecting properly, but if you can examine the bike it may be obvious what is meant.
