EP8 from Bosch Gen 4

I’m looking to change my bike but my preferred choice is powered by the EP8. I’m sure it’s a fine motor but coming from a Bosch Gen 4 I can’t fail to listen to all the reviews which clearly put the EP8 way behind the Bosch in terms of power, responsiveness and range.
Looking for feedback, particularly from EP8 users and those that have had both
Mixed riding trails and trail centres Sherwood Pines, Cannock Peaslake Swinley Haldon and Wales to name a few

I have a SC Heckler with EP8 and it is absolutely fine in my opinion....but, I can assure you that every response to this question will be biased from the writers own experience. Some will be convinced to stay away from EP8 and go Bosch and others will have opposite opinions. I would see if demo ride is possible with EP8 and then make your decision. There is no absolute right or wrong decision despite what some fan boys might tell you. BTW all the 'specs' you might find online don't often translate to real world experiences.
