Levo Gen 2 Engine shutting off at 6% battery

Already on 2 rides, my engine shutted off when the battery level was at 6% . Went to the dealer who told me that this is normal when riding in cold, freezing weather. He told me nothing is wrong with the battery.
What is your experience on this? Is this normal?

Luckily that doesn't happen with my car. Imagine you still got 50 miles left, shown on your cluster, and suddenly it just stops ?.
The Levo battery is already that "poor" (only get 23 miles when driving eco -30/35) and then this happens ?.

How old is your battery that you are only getting 23 miles in eco? I can nearly do that in turbo and only use 30-35% of the battery!

Ohhh to have this kind of distance .. it's all relative and depends on how you ride and your terrain.

If you're doing 23 miles and 1000+ climbing then that's good .. well, amazing ... If you weight 100000000000000000000g that will make a difference.

The Brose is also the most susceptible to cadence with regard to efficiency. Try to stay about 80 or you're turning the battery energy into heat.

Whilst it seems crap that your bike stops at 6% . Ask yourself, would you rather it did that and works next time because it's doing it to protect the battery , or it went to 0 but then you only got 5 miles next time ?

How can you do 23 MILES in Turbo and only use 30% .. That would mean you can go 90 MILES in turbo using 500-700w ?? Do you have a quad following with a generator ? or you start at the top of Everest and ride a sweepy trail down through the Himalayas ?

Lets say you averaged 15mph on the flat in turbo on your limiter.. you're saying your battery will last 6 hours of Turbo ???

Quick, sell it to Tesla, your battery has a magical chemical mix in there which will power spaceships to mars with ion drives using just a fridge sized battery !

Who knows! I weigh about 160lb. And that is flat terrain. I just rode yesterday and did 12 miles and 1100 feet turbo like 95% of the time and burned 31%.
I bet I could get 80 miles in eco and probably 6-7k feet. I’m at least going to try for it this summer!

Hey just checked my wahoo which actually records time in each mode. 85% turbo turns out. Here’s some screen shots. Always fun to look at data. I’ll try a flat 23 mile turbo ride next week..maybe..it’s so boring! Lol.

I should mention the temperature was not freezing. Started in 40’s and went into the 50’s. F

Looks good .. but go in stages, you might find your expectation tail off with more climbing. Different terrain and riding styles make a huge difference to range. Where I normally ride is constantly up and down so you're constantly burning battery, hence you're lucky to 30km's 1000m climb. If you're going like a mad man and riding turbo or trail to the limit you'll be lucky to get 20km's 1000m climb because you're constantly pulling full draw from the battery - so you have an hour max.

If you plod, it's different .. you can go miles, even in Turbo.... or equally, if it's easy going you can push past the limit, I think I used 10% after 30 miles a few week ago - but that was killing myself to stay above the assistance and my body just can't do that for more than an hour and half or so.... not without some beer anyway
