EnergyPak Plus RE 250 didn't work

Hello Everyone, i just bough RE 250w for my father, he use Trance X E+1
Unfortunately The RE didn't work, i followed the steps on the Manual Book already
Does anyone have the same issues as i am ?

Hi, it shows the same ammount when i unplug the RE

On my Reign the energypack doesn’t cut in til the main batteries down to 20% then it powers on til it’s spent then cuts back to the main battery for the last 20%. connect it up and go ride and it should cut in when you get low

For my case I already tried until 2 - 1 % capacity of the main battery but it still cannot connect. I already try to mail them (giant) but no response untill now. And the local store here, they didn’t have any idea of it

Sounds faulty then. On mine I connect it up and switch the bike on and then switch the pack on and then the pack turns itself off until the main is low and then powers up. is the bike up to date in the app?

Apparently pre 2022 models may need a firmware update so the batteries can connect to each other. You may n to contact a Giant dealer to update

Yes where do you update the firmware ? By phone app or you need a desktop to update the battery system ?
Because i already update the latest firmware by phone app
