Hi folks!

Hoping some of you can help me out.
My suntour 190x50 died of the lady's EMTB.

I am looking for an replacement, I had a hard time finding a shock which would also be compatible for an emtb, but does it matter??

It's an older bike, but should do for a while ...https://archiv.cube.eu/nl/2019/236110

I checked rockshox they mention the following.

At Fox I can't really tell. Would a fox float just do? Any tips I should look at? It should be a solid shock, but she's not in to real jumps or whatsoever. Thanks champs!

Something like this would do the job and considerably cheaper.

Don't worry about the whole emtb thing. A shock is a shock. Some have an ebike tune on them and maybe some more robust internals but none of my forks or shocks are ebike specific. It's not an issue; you might get a better ride offroad with an ebike specific tune but shouldn't be a major concern.
Important stuff is shock length (eye to eye), stroke length and the mount type. After that it's all just features you want for adjustability e.g. piggy back chamber (if the bike can fit it), lockout; hsc/lsc, rebound etc......
