Levo Gen 2 Electrical failure with my 2019 levo Brose 2.1 motor

Hi All,

I’m writing this as I’m searching to find what options there are, regarding the motor failure on my 2019 levo.
Verified the failure after a trip to the wise men of Don Skene’s, in Cardiff (thank you again!), and now that I’ve removed the motor from the frame I am looking to see what can be done.
The motor is a replacement unit from January 2020 (drive belt failed on original).
Have every receipt from when I bought the levo.
Do Specialised cover anything under warranty at this age of motor ?
Any recommendations regarding repairs / refurbishment?
Which would be the best kidney to sell to pay for a new motor ?

Hi dar23,
I believe Specialized will sell a new motor at a % discount which decreases the longer you are out of warranty, under their assisted replacement policy

This is where I'll be sending the motor from my 2020 levo when it stops working.
