E8000 di2 compatibility….

Is there a 12 speak di2 option that is compatible with e8000 or are they only compatible with ep8?

My Focus Jam2 was e8000 and 12-speed (manual) and I'm pretty sure that it was set up to take a Di2.

I don't have anything that says 100% that electronic shifting works with e8000, only stuff that implies it, like this user manual for the display that in the troubleshooting area (p23) says as much.

I fitted di2 to my 2019 Jam with 11 speed, very easy with the E8000 but you have to change the software from manual to electronic shifting.
I've just recently fitted Di2 to my Bosch powered Focus Thron and it was much more involved as it doesn't work with the bosch electrics.
It needed a seperate shimano battery in the headtube, a display, shifter switches, wiring between battery, display, shifters and derailleur. The other big problem is that while Di2 works with 12 speed it's only compatible with the later EP8 motor so had to change cassette to 11 speed from 12 speed which involved a new HG hub or wheel with a HG hub as 12 speed are microspline and there are no 11 speed clusters with microspline that I could find that were compatible.
After all the mucking around it is all fitted and working well, I have carpal tunnel problems so just being able to tap the shifters to change gear is easier than having to push a cable shifter.
