Finally installed mine today. Just waiting on my replacement dropper lever, then it's Good bye over bar lever. Didn't realise just how small the switch is.

Anyway did anyone have to use these? I tried to use one of the rubber rings but the unit wouldn't slide into my bars so I just put the switch straight on. Have I missed something here?

Yes, I have all three installed. You have to thread the cable through the rubber retaining rings first then slide them onto the bars in small increments, largest ring first then thinner rings towards the bar ends.

I think I will use them, Zip ties seem to slide around a bit after a while. I'll wait till I have to remove everything to install the under bar lever before pulling it all apart.
