Dual Crown Fork - Problems

Trying to fit a RS Boxxer 29er, 46mm offer fork on the Decoy. Changed the Air spring to 180mm and purchased a 1-1/2 to 1-1/8 headset adapter to be able to run a 1-1/8” Straight steerer tube through the headtube but the stopper thing is blocking everything from working as it should. Any ideas what to do?

Removing that dovetail would probably fix the problem and allow a 1-1/5 headset to fit in that pocket which means there’s two of them stacked on each other. It would work and the 1-1/8 to 1-1/5 crown race that is installed on the boxxer’s steerer tube would be able to be installed.

I tried yanking the dovetail with some needle nose pliers but it’s probably pressed fitted a d possibly glued on tight

You need to have the lower cup pressed out and replace it.
