Had a small off today which damaged assist controller .. now fixed BUT now the dropper post wont stay up
It stays in place for a few minutes and then sinks gracefully down cant see any obvious kinks in the cable but did find the lever at the base of the seat post reluctant to return to fully up lubed everything so whats the problem peeps ?

Mine was a kinked cable under the dropper. The LBS had pulled out the dropper to clamp the seatpost in his workstand. When he'd finished, he shoved the dropper back in without pulling on the other end and kinked the cable.

LBS decided the cable was too short preventing the "catch" on the bottom of the tube latching properly.. new cable sorted it.
Cant understand how a metal cable can shrink.....maybe something to do with me dropping bike on to the handlebars and damaging the furniture ,,,,,anyway works now.
