DPX2 shock upgrade vs stock

In which situations have those of you who upgraded noticed a difference? Is it a smoother ride? Or just better landings off of jumps?

All of the above to be honest. The Can on the DPX2 will mean it won't heat up as easy so can keep the properties of the shock over heavy chunk..

Personally I bought it to match my my Fox 36 I put on the front. I don't huck my bike too often, so I bought it for its smoothness to match my fork. It was a pretty profound difference from my stock Deluxe RT that came with my Levo Comp

Did you use the same hardware to mount it? Were the bolt holes larger than stock requiring shims? What did you torque the bolts to?

Yes
Same hardware. I did a direct swap over. I don’t remember the torque spec. Sorry I have no photos of the swap over.
