My LBS (Newark Cycles) sent off my Fox 38 Elite fork and my Fox DPX2 Elite to TF Tuned for a booked-in service. The fork was fine, but the black stanchion on the shock was replaced under warranty. TFT despatched the two items in one package by DPD. DPD notified my LBS that the package was missing at the Peterborough depot. Jack at Newark Cycles went into orbit and spent ages going through the usual maze of chat boxes, no telephone numbers, no real person to talk to etc. Finally, he got an email address and unloaded his wrath. Eventually, after several days and multiple emails, he persuaded someone to actually go look for the package. He was just about ready to drive down there (ca.55miles) and look for it himself.
Fortunately, they found it and it was delivered this morning, more than a week late!
If Jack had not stepped up and chased up DPD, I could still be without my suspension and I have a guided ride to run on Sunday! (see Rideouts Sherwood Pines ).

With all the blather about whose fault it was, whose insurer pays, questions of "HOW MUCH!" and so forth, it could have been months before I got a working bike.
Well done Jack at Newark Cycles!
PS: I knew none of this at the time, just that the suspension was held up "problems with the shock" etc. Jack managed to hold me off but did not tell me anything about the package being "lost". I sort of would have wanted to know, but it would have ruined my week. As it was Jack finally gave me a "good news" message. "Your bike is on the work stand as I speak and will be ready for collection in 15 mins". He told me the whole story later.
