So if you order one of those motors, there's a pretty good chance it will get stopped at customs because the sniffer dogs won't like it ?

No, the motor should be fine, it's the Lance Armstrongs.

I've followed the CYC development from way back on the Endless-Sphere forum. It looks to be very well developed, but pretty loud apparently. THe BBS02 and BBSHD are very quiet, and if you can afford the BB clearance, they're a great choice. (no torque sensing though, just be aware)
Also note that on a Fattie, you need a wider BB (not 68-73mm). You can get 100mm BBS motors and / or modification kits.
