Does the Flyon Time and Date reset when you swap out the battery?

Just got my new second battery - they are so scarce I had to get one from Italy! I just put it in to try it and when I looked at the Flyon display the date and time had reset to January 2020 8.45am. Does it forget the time every time you swap the battery? The battery was only out for a few mins max.

Same here, after setting the time again, it was gone by switching the bike off and on again.
Placing the old battery, the original time and date pop ups again...

Why indeed! What possible benefit could that add? Madness!

I have two batteries/bikes and I swap batteries around all the time. Ive never noticed this but then, I can’t read the display without glasses so it doesn’t really matter.

I had this problem but when the LBS did a software update (Sept '20) it cured the issue and the date etc didn't reset.
