Well wasn't that perceptive and helpful :)
of him/her/hex/hmx?
I was trying to help, I didn't see any changes to the first post which, according to the time stamp, I'd seen before the moderator but the title had been changed from Did to Didn't.

You need to be careful what you write on social media as your second sentence was irrelevant, unnecessary, rude and in my case potentially libellous - my first name is unusual for a bloke and using hmx could be construed as a personal attack on me. I'm quite laid back and used to people having fun with my name but using hmx isn't acceptable whether you meant it or not.

Okay I'll bite and I dont wish to speak for anyone else on this site including @steve_sordy

WOW " I'm quite laid back". I'm glad you told us as thats not the impression I get! Which pronoun do you prefer? Perhaps you could enlighten me as to how I should refer to persons that I do not know in order to be all inclusive when choosing to refer to their preferred gender preference. More importantly how will I be able to identify a persons gender identity by their embellishment on this site.

"You need to be careful what you write on social media", yes you do. " Potentially libellous" so what exactly was the false or unfair in the statement? I guess like others on here I/we wouldn't wish to trip up and I would hate to be threatened with liable, it would take me back to all that studying of case law again.

It could have been enough to stop at the first smiley or not post at all - as I thought I was helping why the sarcastic reply (from Steve)?
And the second sentence started with he/she so why go any further or in fact why put that sentence at all as it doesn't serve any purpose?
And as it wasn't written in response to your post why are you "biting"?
Oh, and the potentially libellous, referring to me as hmx because of my name?

The reason I used the term biting was because I thought you were trying to get a reaction from the people on this great forum. Presumably if you had an issue with a @steve_sordy post then you would have wanted to take it up with Steve in a DM. The questions you are asking of me should surely be addressed to @steve_sordy. I could not possibly answer for him.

Are you able to answer my previous questions?

All I'm seeing is two consecutive posts from you Wilko.. Im assuming that you are replying to someone which had me puzzled at first ..but then I realised it must be someone who is ignoring me ..or could it be me ignoring them ..
Guess the moral of the story is that you can't please all of the people all of the time ..as long as you please most of the people most of the time ..
Don't let it bother you so much ..things get misconstrued when they aren't said face to face ..

I might be wrong.. but I believe Steve was replying to your helpful information and saying that it was helpful and perceptive of the moderator to change the title , whomever they were.

I did reply to him which is why I quoted him.
I thought I'd answered your question?
