Why what don’t you like about it?
Even in the slowest changing mode it still seems to quick for the motor when switching gear and it’s expensive to replace........I had it on an allroad bike for commuting, but I use the emtb off-road too

And to be honest I’m preferring the 9spd manual shifter on the spare emtb compared to the di2 on the commuter emtb......

Di2 is at it’s best on a road bike, but I can’t imagine it being worthwhile on an MTB, even less so an eMTB. Way too much tech to get smashed on a rock through a careless line choice...

It’s only on the commuter, mostly tarmac and canal routes ts.......I’m not a mtb’er to be honest. I’m just not happy with it’s performance when switching up on climbs and having to virtually stop pedalling altogether before switching gear

I have DI2, it definately requires a degree of mechanical sympathy with gear changes as well as predicting your gear changes in advance. I find the gear changes pretty harsh in boost, and try not to...if i need an emegency power shift gear change ill generally try and hit the next power level in preference.

Would i change it? No i like the precision, although i can see why bike manufacturers shy away from it.
I wouldnt insist on it on a new bike either though.

I have been caught out with a big stick in the mech " confusing" the Di2 and it would only shift to the highest gear -not good. This made me do a trail side google search revealed how to reset it, and havent had a problem since, except i cant remember how to do it through the steps controller anymore!!

I personally love DI2 XT. I’ve got over 20yrs of mountain biking and I’ve only broken one derailuer, now that I’ve said that, I bet tomorrow I’ll take out my rear derailuer:(.
I love the absolute precision of each shift, I love the easy push it is to change gears and finally I love never having to adjust/change cable/housing ever again!

Living in The Forest of Mud (Dean UK) , I like the way you can just click the Wire off, take the Mech off and Clean, Check Mech hanger and get back together. Have only had one one time running out of power enough to not be able to change gear- but that was my rider error when enjoying myself too much, but relevant on cold days/nights. So easy to reset also.

In the end personnel choice.

After a few days of procrastination, I have decided to keep the Di2 on the commuter and only use it for the tarmac commutes and use the other emtb if I want to mix up my ride route home in the summer/autumn months.........so good having Two Emtb’s
