Decision to buy a ebike: Cube One44 HPC TM or Amflow PL Carbon

I have doubts about deciding on one of these two models with all their differences:
- Cube Stero Hybrid One44 HPC TM
- Amflow PL Carbon (800Wh)
By specifications I would buy the Cube, although by weight I would buy Amflow, there are 3 kgs of difference between one and the other. The advantage of the Cube for the removal of the battery: best for transporting in the car and charging only the battery at home.

Model: Cube One44 HPC TM vs Amflow PL Carbon
Brand: Experienced vs New brand
Support: Experienced vs New brand
Weight: 24.1 kg vs 21.1 kg (M)
Engine: Bosch Gen5 (85Nm) vs DJI Avinox Drive (105Nm) 850W
Battery: 800Wh (Charger 4A) removable vs 800Wh (Charger 12A) none removable
Rear shock: Fox Float X Performance (140mm) vs FOX Float Performance (150mm)
Fork: Fox 36 Float GRIP (150mm) vs FOX 36 Performance (160mm)
Brakes: Magura MT7 vs Magura MT5
Rear Derailleur: SRAM GX Eagle AXS vs SRAM GX Eagle
Shift Levers: SRAM AXS Pod Controller vs SRAM GX Eagle Trigger Shifter

That's a tricky one for sure, is it your first Ebike?
Do you have dealers of both near you?
Personally I would want to try both and go with the one that fits my style of riding best (they're both quite similar) but could ride very differently.

Thank you for your answer. Yes, it's my first ebike. Yes, I have dealers nearby. I'll try to test both models, but not always dealers have all the models to try.

If weight is important to you, why don't think about Orbea Rise?
Or even Orbea Wild?

Ammflow is similar concept to Orbea Rise, but you save the doubts about service.
And the Cube would be towards Orbea Wild. Here both brands are wll knonw and experienced.

Orbea, with similar specifications, are quite more expensive. Nowadays there are not many brands better than Cube in terms of value for money.
If you're in the uk I'd be looking at Raymon Tallrays 160 or 140 at Paul cycles
£1999.99 , 60% off

What bike did you go for in the end?
I was in your exact predicament a few weeks back and went for the green cube!
It seems great although is somewhat early days.
My reason for not getting the amflow was the untried and untested, following on the amflow forum there seems to be various teething issues and also do you really need 105nm of torque??

I haven't decided yet, I'm still thinking about buying Amflow because of the weight ratio, but I like the Cube because of the component and price ratio, but I don't like the weight. It's a tough decision. If I decide on Cube I would buy the Cube Stereo Hybrid ONE44 HPC TM 800 model in green, I think it is one of the best options on the market. If I decide on Cube I would buy the Cube Stereo Hybrid ONE44 HPC TM 800 model in green, I think it is one of the best options on the market. Regarding Amflow, I think the same, the reliability of the engine in the medium term.

I must say the green on the cube does look epic! Yes the bike is on the heavy side but coming from a 2024 cube AMS lightweight emtb the new model is miles ahead in every way!
To be honest you don’t notice the weight when riding

Is those bikes components comparable aren't they 2 completely different bikes?

I think it's urgent...to wait........if you can.... The DJI motor is a killer. But the bike is not the best. In a few months, reputable brands will release new bikes equipped with the DJI motor. Forbidden for starters.

I've just had 4 years on a SC Heckler; great bike......but I got so fed up with taking a spare battery with me on every ride.

I opted for the Amflow last November and it's ace. It's a trail bike for sure, but many have proven it's capable of so much more.
Don't listen to the people who say it's not a good bike; its better in so many ways than the SC.
And then there is the motor......WOW.....its as good as all the hype.

I would never choose a bike based on its components...you can change them as they wear out; Frame/Suspension and Motor system are whats important.

As far as service goes, I am yet to read one bad review of their service; sure things break but all issues have been resolved quickly using only these forums and the Facebook group as barometer.
