Dead Levo

Well after six ride outs my Levo gone nuts had its first service and update last week got a clean bill of health from mechanic First ride out totally gutless kept going in and out of drive modes were working then not kept pulling back like brakes were on then motor would stop altogether then be intermittent would get a initial kick then pull back just felt like a normal bike stop started it loads and messed with settings then it would be ok for five mins then back to working itself pedaled it back to van switched off and dropped it at Evans will wait for verdict when mechanic who serviced it is in tomorrow ?

intermittent electrical issues can be tough to diagnose
did you check to make sure the charging port is securely closed?
try opening, cleaning, and resecuring

does not instill a lot of confidence in Evan's (do they test drive?)

will be interesting to hear the outcome and what got messed up

Well that really sucks! I have 800kms on my 2018 and everything is butter smooth! I have had it into my lbs twice to get updates to the batteries. Someone dropped the ball big time!

Just called in to see mechanic he’s struggling to determine the issue so he’s contacting Specialised to see what they think ?

I am sure you will get a new motor and/or battery... all will be good again, normally specialized warranty works very well!!

Latest on my bike got call to say it’s sorted and working fine took it for a spin first steep hill no assist at all beeps but nothing happens not even walk assist doesn’t throw any problem up on the shop diagnostics system so back in the shop ??gutted

Sorry to hear about this Shane. It would piss me off no end. Thankfully, you'll have good consumer protections and Specialized should just front up a new bike as replacement if the problems persist for an inordinate time frame.

Had similar problem and it was the button controller on the handle for me. Apperantly they r an issue. Good luck

Well picking bike up to test it they told me to take it try it again if same happens they contacting Specialized said they have done everything they can so fingers crossed ?

Its interesting how many threads there are about Levo probelms - i suspect that just reflects that it seems like at least half the forum have them, also interesting to see that most shops and specialised seem to be pretty good at dealing with them.
