Hello everyone,

very interested in purchasing a Stereo Hybrid One44 Race. Only thing that’s concerning me is the manufacturer support.

is it really that bad? Heard Some not great stories so far. Just don’t want to have that constant worry if something goes wrong, particularly frame cracks etc.

Thanks

I am also looking at the same bike. The 2025 model with the new Bosch motor and 800wh battery

I am also interested in how the support is or any issues to be aware of.

I've not had cause (knock on wood 🪵) to resort to their support or make a warranty claim, so I can't give first hand experience.

I will mention that:
Cube is a European company, privately owned (and still family run IINM), that's been around for a while with an established dealership network.
The UK still has (for the time being at least) decent consumer protection laws.

You've a standard 2 year general staturatory warranty, with a 6 years frame warranty for aluminium or 3 for carbon. HELP & FAQ - SUPPORT | CUBE Bikes

You would need to return the bike to where you bought it not Cube directly if you needed to make a warranty claim.

Note that warranties don't cover wear and tear, or user error. That's regardless of company.

You're welcome. It was at least my reasoning when choosing a bike.

Unless you're fortunate to be very well off, an ebike is an expensive purchase worthy of some serious consideration, including "what do I do if something goes wrong?" and "is the company I'm buying from likely to still exist in a years time?"

If there's any issues with this particular model is too soon to say, obviously.

Note that statistically you're more likely to have an issue with motor than the frame - and Bosch has a pretty good rep for honouring their warranty.

I bought so far several Cube bikes and the only think I can say is local shop is allways very supportive (so a point to consider). So far minor issues, generaly with bosch components and all solved . No issues with frames .
