My 2020 Cube is getting ready for a new chain, On the website it states a SRAM SX Eagle. Thing is I can't find the SX online anywhere. Would the NX chain be OK instead.

Same here, never found a SX-Eagle Chain in any onlineshop.

I haven't looked yet, I think any 12 speed chain should work. Not sure if you can get it in grey 'n' orange though ;-)

for thos in the same predicument. I think the NX chain will be OK. I've found this site selling the groupset. In the individual listings the chain is listed as a NX eagle

I have the NX Eagle 12 speed as a spare in my parts box.

I bought an Eagle xo1 chain for my 12 speed. The oe chain only lasted 170 miles and after much research on here stumped up forty quid for a chain ? if it doubles or triples the oe mileage it'll be worth it. I got a 0.05 chain checker and changed it then, no need to change the steel cassette ??
Spend to save ?

My OE chain as done 900 miles and is still good as its only .5mm worn. I'll change it for the NX Eagle 12 speed when it gets to .75mm

the bikes just come back from James Cycles after having its 1st service. I asked the guy to replace the brake pads and chain but he said it didn't need a new chain and not to bother until it got to .75mm. I purchased a chain to replace myself once it gets to that. On that note I was really lucky. Whilst the bike was in the shop theives broke into my garage looking to steel my bike. they just stole my daughters victoria pembleton analogue bike and drilled the lock on the garage. Annoying but i count myself lucky

Looking on park tools site it Says .5% but you pay your money. I found my gears changed much better once I fitted a new chain ??

Anyone know what the difference between the NX and the GX chain is?
