Anyone else had issues with the cheap cage type headset bearings used on the entry level bikes?
FSA 1.5 B ZS, top 1 1/8. Bottom 1 1/2
3 ball bearing in the top cage were split in half. The lower bearings were ok but covered in mud.
Any advice on how to look after this type of headset? How to wash or not to wash? How often do you service them and best way to stop muck entering the bottom cage?
