Cube battery cover

Has anyone else had their Cube battery cover fall off? Mine fell off on the first ride and the rear wheel had gone over it when I eventually found it. Looks like the cover and the mechanism need replacing. Hopefully this won't be a big issue when it goes in for its first service. Does anyone use velcro straps etc? I think I will be doing. I have only covered about 40 miles in total, needs a battery cover and mechanism plus the charger cover is not attached and the flippin Cube lights won't wire into the Kiox system. I really enjoy the bike itself though and will be getting more miles in now as my Thule easyfold XT2 carrier arrived today!

Don’t the light wire into the motor low voltage port?

Is the cover the plastic one with the push button latch. What bike is it?

The wiring port is different on the kiox system.

Yes the big plastic main battery cover. Its a reaction exc 750 xxl

The connectors are different according to the dealer hence them not fitting. I emailed cube before purchasing to clarify, they said they would fit, they don't. I can possibly have them spliced on apparently. Doesn't fill me with confidence Cube not knowing if their own products actually fit.
