It seems the 2020 disease is spreading.
Bigger price, heavier bike not exactly what i will jump on.
To the manufacturers out there we do not all want a battery that heavy and that expansive. Norco did it last year now many do it. It is a bike it should not be so expansive. Offer the 500 Wh and a larger if you want, i am sure it is not that complicated.

I think the 500w still fits, just needs an adapter. They should definitely offer both options.

Anyone seen any uk listed prices for the Cube 2020 EMTBs?
This site seems to have the whole range listed, and with that carbon frame and at these (pretty much direct sales level but from a shop) prices I think they are going to be popular. I have never been interested in Cube before, but I’m looking forward to trying them at the NEC next month...

Does the 400 wh battery fit on this full suspention set up ?
The 500wh base and a 400wh spare in the back pack could be a suit spot option for longer rides !?

Strange as it may seem the 400 and 500 powertubes are exactly the same dimensions and weight. How they achieve this I’ve no idea.
The 625 power tube is longer and heavier.

To answer your question then yes you could carry a 400 in your back pack but you might as well carry a 500 in your back pack if it is same size and weight as the 400

Yep, acording to bosh info the 400 and 500 have same size and weight!
Extra 500wh might bee the good option.

Looks like the Reaction Hybrid EX 625 is my choice. £2599 is the cheapest I’ve seen so far.
Time to save the pennies. I’ll need to find a rather large coin jar and label it “bike fund”

What's everybody's thoughts on the integrated battery , as i understand it from Robs Video it cant be removed for charging /winter room temp storage ?.. could be a right pain for some .. Bubble wrap and an electric blanket for others ;)

As far as I know, all Bosch batteries should be easily removable as quite a few riders carry a 2nd battery in their rucksacks to quickly swap them when out on long rides

Lost , I’m lost. Dealer offered me Rm altitude carbon 70 2 hand 1000km for 4000€ , 300€ more then new cube stereo......next Tuesday I try the Rm. strange I doubt for someone who once had a bike store and sold more then 850 high bicycles a year.... getting old I guess......

RM is kind of apart in my opinion. I guess you know they offer a new guide that elimates the chain noise. The feel(short chain stay) will be different and i would not consider the price. If you like riding RM i think it is your bike.

Well we finally bit the bullet today and ordered our new Cube hardtails after much research and advice using this forum.
We had our minds originally set on basic hardtails but with 625 batteries (Reaction Hybrid EX 625 and Access Hybrid EX 625)

However the price reductions on the 2019 bikes are just too good to resist. My wife went for the Reaction Pro 500 (2019) price normally £2199 but now reduced to £1755
I went for the slightly better Reaction Race 500 (2019 version) which has RockShox front air suspension. That is also 20% off at the moment.
