I can see the logic and at 2/3 the cost of a full 750wh battery its not hard to just pass on one when I can get a full-size 750wh for $850 - Just wish the full-size battery wasn't so full size 😆

Could always do 2x 500wh 😀. I had a chat with Troydon about batteries as I was considering getting a 500wh. My most common ride is an hour/1000ft climbing so it would work quite well. Troydon said that you can adjust the cradle for a shorter battery so that the weight stays low. But in the end I decided it was only a couple of kilos and I wanted to keep the option of some bigger missions.

Would you be able to tell me what Troydon said about Adjusting the cradle for a shorter battery? I have a 500w battery and it came with just a 3-D printed spacer attached to the bottom of the battery to fill up the space and hook into the battery holder in the bottom of the frame. Was he talking about something else?

Hi there, Yeah, when I talked to Troydon he mentioned that it is possible to reposition the battery cradle in the downtube so that you could have the smaller batter at the bottom. You wouldnt then be able to fit the larger battery. It sounded like it wasnt a simple job so you wouldnt be doing it very often. I decided just to go with the 750

If.you remove the bosch rail out of the frame you just un bolt the battery connector at the top of the frame down to the size of a 500wh pretty easy job just fiddly.

If you need any more help hit me up
