Just got an email with my UPS tracking #. New Cube 160 TM will be in my shack by Thu. F yeah buoy! Not that I'm excited or anything.

Had first ride on my 160 SL tonight - one of those 'getting to know you' rides

Having previously had a 2020 Levo Expert, the 160 is quite a different ride. Certainly like the 27.5 wheels and the short bar will take a bit of getting used to. If i don't i can easily swap that out.

I've replaced the stock tyres and replaced them by Michilen e-wild and converted to tubeless

Just 6 miles, stopped a couple of times to adjust minor things - seatpost height, position of controls etc

Overall, very pleased and will do a bit more tomorrow and then have a proper run out on Sunday

@Zudnik - i'll sure you will equally pleased with your steed!

You previously had Levo 2020.. ok am I missing something? Are we already in 2022? You guys changing bikes like they are for free or what? Wtf .. I'm shocked. It's like Americans earn half a million per year or what

@nasamorpheus Unfortunately while the Levo was a very good ride, it was completely unreliable.

Lots or power problems - TCU replaced four times, Battery replaced, wiring harness replaced twice, would'nt power on. Similar to the 2018 Kenevo i had.

Between then, 15 return trips to the bike store and just under 1000 miles back and forth to the bike shop

I could'nt trust it anywhere other than local rides so decided enough was enough. 100 miles to a bike park and no power when i got there (altho did power on before i set off ?) was becoming rather irritating

LBS and Spesh were very good and I did in fact hand it back and had it replaced (no cost) by a Specialized Enduro Expert. Using that for uplifts and downhills in Wales

So the Cube....good spec and i did miss the climbing ability and fun of an e-bike. Half the price of the Levo, so good value
