I feel for you buddy ... I am the undisputed world champion of impatience... I nearly bought a Focus because I had to wait longer than I wanted for my levo but then another bike shop had one in my size so happy days! (ain't she pretty!) clipless pedals are back on, I hate not feeling connected to the bike

Looks great! I have never rode in clipless pedals and I am not about to start :)

Hi, are you happy with the base model? Any issues so far? I ordered the same bike, still waiting for delivery...

I'm using a pair of Point One Podium Pedals that I bought way back in 2011 for my old Ellsworth. I love the super low-profile which helps give a few extra mm of clearance. Sadly Point One isn't in business anymore so I'm not sure what I'd get if I had to replace them.
Get a set of these babies they are so light it's not funny I have some kitchen scales if you want to know the weight I'm lying in bed at the moment and ain't getting up just yet for anyone haha

Go on then, what are they and what did they weigh?

I have ridden many different EMTB's over the last year or so, and cant say I can notice any difference in ride between a Carbon and an Alloy one. You do notice if one bike is significantly lighter than another, but you notice far more how the weight is distributed on the bikes, and the differences in quality of the suspension fitted.

E.G if you ride a bike with a Bosch intube battery and then ride a bike with say a Shimano external battery you notice how much weight is further forward in the frame.

How an emtb is designed, and how the weight distribution is pulled off is far more noticeable in the current development cylcle of EMTB's than a kilo her or there.

If I was looking at a Levo I would buy a comp, put a 160mm Fox 36 or RS Lyric on the front and a coil out back, but that's just me.

There I fixed it for you :p
But to say I do agree with R120.
You wont be noticing much difference alloy or carbon.
I bought the carbon only because of it's colour. I had a Kenevo before that and the weight dint bother me at all.

I do think the dark blue carbon comp is the pick of the range looks wise, the paint in the flesh is pretty awesome, subtle yet really pops in the light

Have you got a coil on yours now?
No I just about to fit a Fox DPX2 on mine.
I though about coil shock, but for my riding it's just overkill. Reason I sold my Kenevo. Animal of a bike but waisted on me and my mostly trail ride.

Also I like the way my shock wiz set's up my shocks and forks. I wont be able to do that with spring mate.

These pedals are the business - the pins are proper daggers and the pedal platform is a great size, run them on both my bikes, having tried them against various crank brothers, HT's and nuke proofs over the last year, I keep coming back to them.

Thank you. That is good to know!

I like the dark blue too!

I am thinking of changing the white lettering to something else but I am not sure what :)
