Hey! brand new to the forums, and e-bikes in general (had mine for 2.5 weeks and been 270 miles on it so far, well pleased with it!)
currently have a haibike hardnine 1.0, 400wh battery, after my 260 miles of local riding I'm getting around 35-45 miles per charge
looking to upgrade to either a trek rail 5 625, or specialised kenevo (or any similar spec-bike for around £4,000) but not sure if i'll have that ready by the time me and my friend (also a brand new ebiker at the moment) decide to do the c2c, most likely not since i'm a poor little minimum-wage worker
wondering how you think battery life will be for us, are there plenty of local shops on the route / hostels that would allow us to steal their electricity for our ride?
i'm super excited to try it out!
i'd gladly buy a spare battery when i get the new bike, but i'd rather not buy a spare for my current bike since i know it's most likely going to be sold towards my new one
I notice all the videos i watch people go about 30 miles per day or so and then stop off at a hostel/hotel/whatever, personally I'd love to do a bit more and maybe bike around the local areas (especially the lake district!)
