Charger damper adjustment

Hi everyone, I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas and continue to do so.
I finally got around to changing my RC2 charger damper but I was immediately hit by some confusion, my old charger damper had about 18 clicks of movement on the compression dial but my new charger damper has only 5 clicks on the high speed compression dial and about the same on the low speed compression dial and the low speed compression dial turns when I turn the high speed compression dial, my question is, is all of the above correct, if not, what can I do to correct it please, thanks in advance.

Thanks buddy, that’s one part of my multi question post, is it also correct for the high speed compression dial to only move such a low amount of clicks as well please

yes, that's normal for charger 2 with high speed compression adjustment.

My RC2 has 18 clicks low and 4 high and they don’t move together.

So is your new damper the charger 2.1 RC2? If so it has 20 clicks of LSC and 5 of HSC and the 2 dials should move independant of each other.
Not easy counting the LSC clicks.........felt like 18 on my Lyric Ultimate. The RC2 has a lighter compression tune so I set my HSC with 2 clicks
and I set LSC at 8 clicks..............30% SAG which equated to quite a bit less pressure than RS recommended for my weight ( but I tend to ignore those recommendations anyway!) .

I have the 2.1 RC2 damper and the slow-speed dial moves (as it should) with the high speed dial if you turn it. It does, however, not change the slow-speed click setting.

The 2.1 Charger RC2 should have 5 positions of HSC and 20 positions of LSC. But will check today and count
