Evening all, my trouser leg got caught in my chain guide and it span the motor bolt. Now I can’t seem to get the chain guide rraligned properly. It’s rubbing over most of the higher gears. Can anyone see where I’ve gone wrong. I’ve tried to match the angles to photos off google but no joy.
Thanks in advance!

I have the same problem. I think plastic has folded a bit.... I also tried to uninstall a little washer in the frame side but it didn’t work. Maybe the solution is buying a new one but we’ll try everything before!!

Yeah, it looks like it should be further out. If anyone with a working chain guide could grab similar photos of theirs so I could compare that would be really handy ??

Bit of a rubbish picture (no flash, battery too low) but from what I can see your guide is turned in towards the motor housing. Mine has a clear gap. Can get better pics in the morning if needed but I’d say your bracket or bolt is slightly bent.

Thanks Colin, it’s only a couple of months old so I’ll get it booked in and hopefully get it sorted without too much hassle. Appreciate the photo!

The part of the frame to which the metal bar is attached is not parallel to the chain ring so changing the angle it is bolted at may affect the way the guide sits. The actual guide section also looks to be too deep onto the chain ring on the trailing edge. Altering both slightly may correct the clearance. You also need to check that the guide does not foul the chain when on the biggest sprocket with 50% sag set on the rear shock.

Super-stock-never-been-touched chain guide position in 4th smallest gear. Hope it helps!

Dont mind the muck, just been out riding!

Thanks for the replies. The thread had stripped on the screw, BikeScene replaced it for a new one so all sorted now ??
